Sometimes when you are trying to download plugins via Magento Connect Manager can often lead to above error stated as 'Could not resolve host: magento-community Error'.

Couldn’t resolve host 'magento-community'

Above error is actually comes because Magento Connect Manager v1.0 is now switch to v2.0. This update has caused changes to the installation key prefix.

Magento Connect Manager v1.0 Example
magento-community/extesion_key

Magento Connect Manager v2.0 Example
http://connect20.magentocommerce.com/community/extesion_key

So in this Case;
magento-community/

has now become;
http://connect20.magentocommerce.com/community/

So, now if you are getting above error then just replace extesion key url from above url. And you will find that your Magento plugin is now ready to install.

Have a nice day ahead. Thanks for reading.
