Hello friend nice to see you again.

in my previous post you learned "How to validate Start date and End date in Custom Module".

Today i will show you "How to Hide Column from Admin Grid With CSS".

Sometimes Hiding columns in admin grid becomes necessary when you want those particular columns dispaly in exported csv or xml file but you don’t want to display them in the admin grid.

You can easily hide any columns from admin grid by applying some CSS class. you just have to add column_css_class and header_css_class as no-display to the column you want to hide in the addColumn function. This will hide your column from the admin grid. However, this column will be present when you export the grid data to csv or xml file.

            'header' => Mage::helper('webforms')->__('Id'),
            'align'    => 'right',
            'width'    => '50px',
            'index'    => 'id',
            'column_css_class'=>'no-display',//this sets a css class to the column row item
            'header_css_class'=>'no-display',//this sets a css class to the column header
